Spied this place as we drove by on our way to another yelp event and made a mental note to return, so glad we did. We walked in prime time Saturday night around 630 or 7pm, the place was packed, there was a 40 minute wait for a table, but we were able to find two seats at the bar with no trouble, winning! Even better, sat in front of the taps, so full view of the beer situation. An impressive array of taps to choose from, so enjoy! The cocktail menu is no slouch either. Watched one of the bar tenders make a house barrel smoked old fashioned, wasn't quick enough on the camera to film but it was neat to see. After seeing it served to one of our bar neighbors, we shared the 16oz double bone in bershire pork chop special, it was delicious. As we were getting ready to depart, we learned that a group of friends happened to be en route at the same time, so I asked for a table of seven to be put together and just like that, it was ready. Can't really ask for more than that, the service here was great. Live music was taking place, as well as, a fund raising event towards the rear and spilling over into the private event space. This did make navigating to the bathrooms, which were in the rear, a little challenging, it was like running a gauntlet. Outside of that, the drinks were great, the food great, the service great, and I think we found a new fave. We will be back for more beer, and next time I have my eyes on the mussels and guinness french onion soup. Slainte!

Great brunch spot. Went with a large group (8 ppl) so we called ahead and easily got a reservation. Place didn't get busy til closer to noon on a Saturday so no issue with walking in either. Service was good, very attentive and wanting us to order right away. Food was good! Would recommend.

Harp & Fiddle always is always amazing. Whether I take my 90 year old Mother or go with my husband the food never lets us down. Our servers are very attentive. We love the decor

The food was really good. I especially enjoyed the Harp steamed mussels. Our server was attentive and really helpful especially it was our first time dining in. I love the ambiance because it was cozy. My 7 year old daughter enjoyed being there as well.

The menu combines traditional Irish dishes with modern creations. I ordered the Shepherd's Pie; if I could use emojis, I would use a whole lot of them to convey the excitement I felt for this dish that's how good it was! The meat was tender; the mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery, obviously, and the top layer had just the right amount of crunchy bits to make it all come together. My friend had the Fish and Chips. It was hot, fresh, and--get this made with cod. I don't think I've had a more satisfying piece of fish. For dessert, we had the bread pudding. There's no cute way to say it; it was a big hunk of pudding, and it was way too rich and delicious to finish. I don't think there's such a thing as "bad service" in an Irish pub; it's just not part of the vibe, you know? But the service at The Harp and Fiddle was in a league of its own! Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and they somehow knew just the right moments to swoop in with more drinks. The ambience somehow strikes the chords of both "cozy" and "bustling." "Cozy" is a good enough vibe for any restaurant, and restaurants in Dublin (and Boston when I was last there) have the "bustling" thing down pretty well, too. In truth, this is just a fancy way of trying to describe how the space feels, kinda like a hug from a family member you actually like!

We ordered take-out and I was not disappointed in the meal. One item was the fish and chips, and although that wasn't mine (not a fish person) I know was told it may have been better if eaten at the restaurant while it was fresher and more crisp, which is fair. I got the Dubliner burger which was pretty good, and my mom chose the shepherds pie and I didn't actually realize I would like that dish but this one proved me wrong. I'd definitely order the shepherds pie on my own sometime instead of stealing a bite of mom's. I got some buttered pasta and broccoli for the baby and she was very happy with that selection. They have a lot of outdoor seating and I'd like to eat out there. I'm sure I'll be back and look forward to exploring more of the menu.

Nice spot with lots of outdoor seating in summer. Vast menu and good weekly calendar of live music. They have lots of Irish dishes on the menu. Service is always fast and efficient.
